Sponge candy

I absolutely adore the molasses puffs, which we refer to as sponge candy. They taste fantastic! As usual, the packaging was excellent. However, I would appreciate it if they were available in a resealable bag. I neglected to store mine in an airtight container, and once they come into contact with moisture, they become chewy and tough.

These were delicious! Hadn’t had them in many years, my dad used to bring them for my mom, she loved them. I did too and hadn’t known where to buy them for many years. So happy Bissinger’s has them. The chocolate is delicious.

Molasses Puffs

A friend of mine loves Bissinger’s Molasses Puffs, so we decided to try and make them at home. After a couple attempts I decided to order some from Bissingers, since I was trying to create something I had never eaten myself! They arrived in good condition, kept cool in the summer heat by an ice pack. However, the texture seemed stale. I had my friend confirm this, since she is the “expert”, and she agreed, they were not at all the usual crunchy, melt in your mouth texture that she loves. Very disappointing (especially for the price), but we ate them anyway (ha ha!).

These are wonderful -- light, crunchy, and covered with smooth chocolate. I hope you'll have the dark chocolate Puffs back in stock soon-- they're my favorites!
