Glaceed Oranges au Chocolat - 12PC

SKU: 152084

When the Bissinger family came to America, they still had family ties in Europe and knew where to find the finest ingredients that were, quite literally, fit for a King. Today, we continue to source our oranges from Valencia, Spain and use the same time-honored technique to preserve the delicate fruit. Once sliced, they are submerged in natural sugar and bathed for two weeks—allowing the sugar to completely penetrate the fruit—infusing it with a sweetness that is reminiscent of Spain itself. Once these amazing oranges arrive in the States, we dip them individually, by hand, in our luxurious 60% dark chocolate, which produces not only a beautiful confection, but also an unforgettable eating experience.

Former First Lady Laura Bush would often order Bissinger's Glacéed Oranges as a gift for friends and dignitaries.

Simply, Fabulous

Been a huge fan of Bissengers since the opened a store at Oak Park Mall in Overland Park,KS (sadly closed for many years now). The Glaceed Oranges have been my favorite since that time. So simple, an actual slice of Orange galled and coated in exquisite dark chocolate.
So good, you might need a cigarette afterwards!

I loved my candied chocolate covered oranges. They were terrific. Pricey but very good and delicious.

Ask my wife, she ate all of them. With her it’s a ritual. One every morning with coffee.

Painfully Delicious!

These are absolutely incredible- painfully delicious, in fact. Why painful? Because at some point, they are all gone, and the despair at their loss is truly painful. Time to go get some more!

Best candy known to man

Awesome. I would have everyday if I could afford. It is a yearly Xmas treat for me. My only negative would be several small slices in the box, be nice to add another slice or 2 to make up for them and show you care about the customers experience.
