Badia a Coltibuono means "Abbey of the Good Harvest". The classic extra virgin olive oil of the same name has been produced in the Chianti region of Tuscany since 1058. This extra virgin olive oil is an authentic product entirely extracted by natural methods, first cold pressed and free of any type of heat or chemical treatment. The color of Badia a Coltibuono’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil is golden yellow with strong green nuances; it tastes of typical fruitiness and rich olive flavour with a typical peppery aftertaste.
